Simple Pasta

I wanted to learn more about making fresh pasta to increase my skill set when I stumbled upon this gem. This is a great book for pasta beginners like myself! The author does a great job of writing in a witty, engaging style while still going into great detail. She begins by explaining basic pasta making techniques, as well as providing a few easy-to-follow recipes for Egg Pasta Dough, Ricotta Gnocchi and Potato Gnocchi. She then incorporates fresh pasta into 4 complete seasonal menus, with detailed recipes of all components. This is not a dense instructional manual, but rather a story told through food. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to step up their pasta game!
